A new Prodigy album is gonna be released!

Yes it is true! A brand new back to the roots Prodigy album is going to be released less than 3 months from now!

Just read what some sites say:

From Wikipedia:

"Invaders must die" will be the title of the upcoming, fifth studio album by the electronic act The Prodigy. It will be released on March 2nd, 2009 on the band's new label, "Take Me to the Hospital" and distributed by Cooking Vinyl. It will be the first studio album released by the band since 2004's Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned and is the first Prodigy album since 1997's The Fat Of The Land to feature Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim. Details about the album were released November 4, through The Prodigy's newsletter and confirmed the same day by Liam on "The Zane show" on BBC Radio 1. The band have said that the album will go back to their "old-school but cutting edge" routes, and will feature collaborations with Dave Grohl and James Rushent. The album will be released as a CD, CD/DVD, Double Vinyl, Luxury 7 inch Vinyl box set and Digital Download.

To coincide with the release of the album, the band will embark on a nine date, UK arena tour, with support from Dizzee Rascal and Fight Like Apes.

The album will feature 11 tracks. Currently three titles are known:

  • Colours
  • Run With Wolves - (with Dave Grohl)
  • Invaders Must Die - (with James Rushent)
From the Theprodigy.com:

New album to be released on March 2nd

It's the news we have all been waiting for. We can now tell you the new album is called "Invaders Must Die" and will be released on The Prodigy's imprint, Take Me To The Hospital, through Cooking Vinyl, on March 2nd. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim all feature on the album, which is the first time since the release of Fat Of The Land in 1997. The result is back to their bone shaking best, a collision of old skool rave noise with the stratospheric limits of new technology.

The Album's cover:

I can't wait till March!
